About Parque El Ocote

Eco-Touristic Park and Resort El Ocote opened its doors in 1993, as a small family owned and operated business in the community of El Ocote, Villanueva Cortes. (Honduras)

Its main objective is to preserve the forest and also bring a new alternative for adventures to the community of Villanueva. Over the years the park has grown, all while protecting the forest and natural environment, offering visitors new attractions such as:

• Swimming pools for adults (natural spring water)
• Swimming pools for kids (natural spring water)
• Artificial Lakes
• Soccer Fields
• Horseback Riding
• Rental Cottages
• Hiking through the forest
• Zip Line (Canopy)
• Camping areas
• Space rental for special events: birthdays, corporate meetings, church outings etc.

Recently the installation of a Zip Line (Canopy) will compliment El Ocote with a travel through the natural beauty of our mountains. All within a safe and family oriented environment.
